Children have a fantastic day at Plopsa Indoor

If you want to treat your child to an unforgettable outing, Plopsa Indoor is the place to be. Rain or shine, this indoor theme park is a true play paradise for children. It's where they can meet their television heroes such as Bumba, Piet Piraat, Kabouter Plop and Mega Mindy, among others. In addition, there are numerous varied attractions, shows, events, and much more.

The story behind Plopsa Indoor

The name Plopsa is derived from the characters from the first two children's programmes, namely Kabouter Plop and the talking dog YesAt the end of 1999, the Meli-Park in the Belgian coastal municipality of De Panne was acquired. Following an intensive renovation period, the first park, then still known simply as Plopsaland, opened here. As more parks were added, the final name of Plopsaland De Panne was decided in 2006. You will find this first Plopsa Indoor park at De Pannelaan 68, 8660 in De Panne.

Plopsa parks in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Poland

Due to the great success of Plopsaland De Panne, Plopsa Indoor Hasselt opened its doors at the end of 2005. Later, Plopsa Coo followed, which is located near the famous Coo Waterfalls. In 2010, it was the turn of children in the Netherlands to get to know the amazing experience of a Plopsa Indoor park. Plopsa Indoor Coevorden at Reindersdijk 57 in Dalen was opened on April 30, 2010. Plopsa parks have also since sprung up in Germany and even in Poland.

For children aged 2 to 10

In the Plopsa park in Coevorden, children between the ages of 2 and 10 will have an unforgettable experience they'll never want to leave. Attractions like the Dancing Fountains, the mysterious Anubis attraction, the Bumba Playground and Piet Piraat's Crooked Ship. Or how about the dizzying Lighthouse that goes up and down at super speed? The exciting Wickie roller coaster is also very popular. With it, you'll whiz past rugged rocks and explore a dark cave at high speed. Outside, there are also numerous attractions to be found, such as the Climbing Mountain, the K3 Traffic Park and the K3 Fire Engine Carousel.

The mysterious Anubis attraction

The House of Anubis is undoubtedly one of Studio 100's most successful television series. In the mysterious Anubis attraction, there's plenty of spinning and swinging in mysterious atmospheres. Here, bravery is put to the test. So, buckle up, because this attraction is only for the truly daring. Because this attraction is so exciting, children between 1.20 metres and 1.30 metres may only ride with your supervision.

With the whole family on the carousel

None other than Samson & Gert welcome your whole family to a fantastic ride on their lovely Carousel. Choose the horse, the carriage, the ostrich, or one of the other magnificent carts. This is a traditional merry-go-round that everyone will thoroughly enjoy.

Ahoy, captains!

At Plopsa Indoor, there are also real boats where little captains can embark on a grand adventure. They will encounter all sorts of things on the impressive Pirate Lake. Children as young as 96 centimetres will be granted a ‘boating license’. The maximum height for this attraction is 1.30 metres.

In Bobo's bumper cars

Who is the most fun rabbit? Bobo, of course. He controls the traffic at the super-cool bumper cars. Here, children can let loose in the speedy little cars. If your child is between 1 metre and 1.39 metres tall, Bobo says they can ride along.

Quack with me in the Bumbamolen

On the back of a real frog, your child will experience an adventurous ride in the Bumbamolen. The frogs croak and jump merrily. Your child is warmly welcomed to guide this spectacular frog dance. Up to a height of 1 metre under your supervision.

Lovely play in the Bumbaspeeltuin

Close to the Bumba mill is the Bumba playground. Together with Bumba, Bumbalu and all their friends, your child can enjoy sliding, climbing, spinning and crawling on numerous fantastic play structures. The Bumba playground is for all ages, but Plopsa Indoor requests that you accompany your child if they are under 1 metre tall.

Don't forget dry clothes at the Dancing Fountains.

At the Dancing Fountains attraction, you and your child can enjoy an impressive water spectacle. The dancing fountains can't wait to bring you a special surprise. Dance along and try to avoid the splashing water. Don't forget to bring dry clothes for this attraction. We assure you that you will need them.

Butterflies in the stomach on the slide

Plopsa Indoor is also home to one of the country's tallest slides. In the Glijbaan (Slide) attraction, you’ll whizz down from the highest point in the gnome zone. Your child must be at least 85 centimetres tall to go on this awesome ride. Additionally, accompaniment is requested for children up to 1 metre tall.

Extinguished blown out in the K3 Firefighter Mill

As the fire sirens wail, your child jumps into the fire engine with K3. They have to hurry to the city because buildings and hotels are now in flames. Step up here as a real firefighter and aim the fire hose in the right place so the fire is quickly put out. For this attraction, your child must be at least 85 centimetres tall. Up to a height of 1 metre, your supervision is also required here.

Real K3 fans are thoroughly enjoying the K3 Carousel.

For the real K3 fans, a ride on the K3 Swing Carousel is a must. Here, they soar high into the air with their favourite K3 member, above the village square. That's proper enjoyment.

Reach the top of the Climbing Mountain

Outside at Plopsa Indoor, there is a very large mountain. The great thing is that your child can climb this mountain. Especially adventurous kids can have a field day here. The Climbing Mountain is for all ages with a minimum height of 1 metre. If your child is between 1 metre and 1.20 metres tall, they will need you as a supervisor.

Playing and romping in the Maya Playground

A real Maya the Bee playground is also a must-have at this fantastic Plopsa park. Here, your child can play and have a wonderful time in a natural environment. Just like Maya herself. Climbing, sliding and scrambling with the characters from Maya's world, your child can experience it all here. Of course, the Maya Playground is for all ages, but a height of 1 metre requires adult supervision.

Met Piet Piraat on The Crooked Ship

Piet Piraat is hugely popular with children, and for good reason. On the attraction De Scheve Schuit, he welcomes them aboard his ship. Here, the children can imagine themselves as real little pirates for a while and are even allowed to fire a cannonball. Hopefully, that all goes well... Piet Piraat allows everyone onto De Scheve Schuit, but for children under 1 metre tall, they might need a little support from accompanying sailors.

Grandad Sparkle's Flying Bikes

An attraction you absolutely must not miss at Plopsa Indoor is a ride on Grandpa Glimmer's Flying Bikes. Hop aboard and ascend to unprecedented heights. The harder you pedal, the higher you will fly. There's a good chance you'll spot the baddies below.

The dizzying Lighthouse

On the Lighthouse attraction, you'll be shot into the air at incredible speed before plummeting back down. It's both dizzying and super exciting. Once at the top, be sure to enjoy the fantastic view. Your child must be at least 96 centimetres tall to ride this attraction. Assistance is required for children up to 1.20 metres in height.

Skim along the rocks in the Wickiebaan

On the Wickiebaan, your child will whiz past the roughest rock formations and explore a dark cave. There's a chance they might encounter Wickie himself, as well as his tough father Halvar. For this attraction, your child must be at least 90 centimetres tall. Additionally, supervision is required for children between 90 centimetres and 1.20 metres tall. Anyone taller than 1.20 metres may embark on this exciting adventure alone.

Shows & Events at the Plopsa park in Coevorden

In addition to the more than 25 attractions, Plopsa Indoor is also known for the dazzling shows and events that take place there. For the little ones, for example, there is the Bumba Magico Show. In this show, Bumba opens the doors of the circus tent and cheerfully performs magic tricks with his friends. And perhaps you still remember Maya the Bee from your own childhood? In Coevorden, you can fully enjoy the Maya Show during the Christmas period. Together with Flip and Willy, Maya the Bee will gladly take your child and you on an exciting adventure with many surprises.
