Our hotel can be seen from afar, as the facade is decorated by the Toyist artists. This movement uses their colorful art to appeal to both children and adults. Each side of the facade shows typical things to be expected in hotels. On the east side a loving couple can be seen surrounded by culinary delights which you can enjoy in our restaurant.

On the south- and north side of the facade the dreams of sleeping beauty are depicted. The hippo, ducks and a banana transformed to monkey on the north side tell us of her dreams about nearby Wildlands Adventure Zoo Emmen.
The sheep and bread oven on the south side refer to possibly the oldest village of the Netherlands: Noordbarge.
Nowadays Noordbarge is a neighbourhood of Emmen, but that does not take away any of the old charm and history. Right across from the hotel you walk into an idyllic scenery with beautiful squares and equally nice farmhouses in a wooded area.
